As you all know, sometimes we come home with game, sometimes we don’t. Either
way, there’s not much else that I’d rather be doing. So I asked myself, what is a
successful hunt? For me, it begins with coming home safe and uninjured, because I
always enjoy my time in the woods regardless of the hunting outcome. And I know,
when you’re mountain hunting, the country doesn’t care about your safety or comfort.
It will throw everything it has at you in a single day’s hunt. I’ve experienced roller
coaster terrain, deadfall, scree fields, snow, ice and mud, all before lunch, and I enjoy
it all and come home unharmed because I prepare from the ground up. I can’t foresee
what kind of hazardous terrain or what the weather will bring, but I can ensure I am
in the most durable, agile, comfortable and supportive boots out there. Boots that give
me confidence no matter what I encounter. I say, “Bring on the crazy steep sidehills,
